Your child is prone to become overweight due to various reasons such as lack of physical activity, genetic factors, unhealthy eating habits or might be due to a combination of these factors. Also in very rare cases it can be due to a hormonal problem.
Today many children are losing their interest to play out with their peers and are interested to spend more time on mobile gaming, internet and video games. As a result they end up in a decreased stage of physical activity leading to overweight.
Children often have a habit of snacking while they are watch television, making them unaware of how much really goes inside. A better practise is not to eat right from the packet, instead portion it out on a small plate and teach them right from the young age the importance of eating right. Be an example for them while dining out. They should understand and value the nutritious food served from your kitchen; just like you enjoyed your mother’s or grandmother’s foods.
Child’s Obesity should be managed by taking all nutritional requirements also into consideration since Children are in their growing stage and if the child is deprived of any of the nutrients it can lead to deficiency.
